Wow. i have been to many, many places and turkey is the one place i wish to return to an d spend at least a month. i assume you are hitting istanbul. lovely city pay the fees and do the aya sofia and blue mosque right. i also enjoyed the musuem of islamic arts. take a cruise (though its touristy) up and down the bosphorus for the day. buy a pass that you can get off a few times and wander at the ports, best way to see how locals live in many areas. then leave istanbul and go to Esphesus. Some of the best ruins in the world if seen in the middle…

Costume of Turkey country

I just don t find the story that interesting to dwell on and never believed in it myself. I grew up in a communist country and that I think is responsible for my lack of attention to the sentimental part of it, whatever that might be. If my child asks, (I don t actively prevent him from learning about the concept), I d just say it is a symbol, like a ghost for halloween or turkey for thanksgiving. I don t think his imagination will suffer that much, knowing his halloween costume choices:-) and I concur, I find Santa dressed men creepy when i spot…

Tour operators to Turkey

Notice that some travel agencies/tour operators offer tours that combine significant Christian landmarks in both Greece and Turkey since they re rather accessible to each other anyhow. Well, the Gate1 link may be the best start for you since it does offer a tour of St. Paul s travels through Turkey (what he called Asia Minor himself during his day) itself. Happy trip!CD03MGVkNTVmYWU4MzZjZjg0Mjhj

Turkish Language Spoken

But I guess because of the Internet, the English language is no longer what it was two generations ago. On the subject of language, English is the worst and most illogical of languages. If an extraterrestrial landed on Earth and asked, I want to learn a human langugage. I have narrowed it down to three: English, German, and Turkish. Without question, the most logical choice is Turkish, followed by German, then English. I say logical based on the fact that there are virtually NO irregularities with Turkishno unpronounced glyphs (no silent letters)…

Can I Travel to Turkey?

Can I Travel to Turkey?

As a Canadian living in Taiwan, my view ain t quite the same. Canadian Thanksgiving is the second Tuesday in October, and it s not a big deal except for the traditional late-season games in the CFL. People don t usually travel for that holiday. As well, the longer gap between Thanksgiving and kweezmuz (as Baldric of Blackadder called it) means we don t get worn out by the taste of turkey. Then again, who can buy turkeys in Taiwan? Most fridges here are tiny (mine is bigger than most, 100 litres) and couldn t hold the 10kg (22lb.) or larger birds…

About Turkey country Information

I don t know if it is at all worth it to respond to your ignorant words. Your attitude sucks and makes me ashamed to share the same soil with the imbecile that you appear to be. Why do we care about Afghanistan? Because they are people just like you and me-- and they could be us. Actually, for many across the country, they are us, in a sense. The people of Afghanistan have been the first victims of the Taliban. Afghanistan is not the Taliban, to paraphrase the article linked to below. Afghanis are living in despicable coniditions under the Taliban…
